Kalamazoo's Running Community Is Ready for the End of the World!

Sure, there's a lot of consternation out there about the possibility of a cataclysmic end of the world this coming Friday, December 21, if some interpretations of the Mayan calendar are correct.

But the progressive running community in the greater Kalamazoo area has taken notice and announced these adjustments:

Borgess Run Camp has cancelled its annual Rob Lillie Look Alike Contest.  Bummer, becaue Nick Nolte was scheduled to come back this year.

Gazelle Sports is announcing its “Everything-Must-Go-This-Time-We-Mean-It” Sale.

The One One Run has been moved to Saturday, December 22.  And it has also been cancelled.

This from KAR: “We still need volunteers for the KAR End of the World event at Borgess Lawerence Education Center. We need two (2) volunteers for set-up, two (2) volunteers for registration and thirty (30) volunteers for tear down.”
